Semi Finalist 2010 and 2011 International Blues Challenge! Lee Pons was born to play the blues. He began picking out songs on piano at an early age. When he saw Dr. John in 1974, the die was cast. Although classically trained at The Juilliard School, Lee remained captivated by the sounds of the Big Easy. "Even if I was playing in a heavy metal band, that New Orleans vibe would still come out," he says. 

An amazing keyboardist on both Piano and Hammond B3 organ, he won "Best of the Bay" for Tampa Bay artists in 2009. 2010 saw the release of his "Big Boogie Voodoo" CD on Mind Balm Records.With Excellent Sales and Heavy Radio play, the CD is doing quite well. With his gritty vocals, key pounding fury, and a heart and soul infused with New Orleans Boogie Woogie Blues, Lee Pons is a true Voodoo Boogie Child.
